Mike Finley is an authority on change -- perhaps the only one who sees that the key to leadership, and to living, is the willingness to suffer for a vision. He has authored or co-authored over a dozen business books, including his award-winning collaboration with Harvey Robbins, Transcompetition, Why Teams Don't Work (winner of the 1995 Financial Times Global Business Book Award for best management book published in the Americas), and Why Change Doesnt Work. His writings on change, technology, and the future have appeared in more than 700 publications. For seven years Mike wrote a syndicated column on modern life for Knight-Ridder called "Future Shoes," which plotted the shifting human edge of culture, technology, and change. Mike also is an award-winning poet and storyteller with many titles, including a series of experimental video essays.
